Version 1.35 The Housekeeping Release
Incremental Releases:

Hey guys, time for the first release of 2025.

Hopefully 2025 treats us a lot better than that bitch 2024, but I have to say, all the craziness of the last week isn't giving me great vibes. The end of the year development cycle is always a bit unusual, because everyone goes on vacation for one to two weeks of heavy drinking. Normally I take a few days off for the actual holidays, but otherwise keep going as usual. We try to do some overall improvements and polishing, and generally just try to make the game a bit nicer before we get back to it after the January release.

This time has been different, mostly because of me. We still have improvements and some other stuff, but I personally had a bit of a breakdown. I've been balancing right on the edge of burnout since last May, and with the crazy amount of stuff that's happened (both good and bad, and both making games and in my personal life) combined with the usual holiday mess... I finally crashed after the 1.34 release. I basically couldn't do anything, game related or not, and what I was able to do took an extraordinary amount of willpower to accomplish. Even looking at Discord (usually something I enjoy) was painful. So after spinning my wheels for a while, I eventually decided to take a vacation for the holidays.

I think it did me a lot of good, and I was certainly feeling less exhausted. With the kind of timing that seems to be typical in life, I also needed to change some of my medications. I stopped one that was helping with my ADHD symptoms and motivation a bit. The good news is that this medication was for treating something else entirely and prevented me from taking an actual medication for my ADHD... so now I can take a proper medication for that. I'm trying Strattera, and am currently on the initial dose. It doesn't seem to be doing very much so far though. I'm also titrating another medication that is replacing that first one I stopped. It also messes with dopamine though, unfortunately. It reduces my appetite and cravings to eat unhealthy food, which could be a nice bonus for my waistline. It also seems to reduce other urges to do things too though, and in general it's been pretty weird. We'll just have to see how that goes.

The end result of all this was that even though that impromptu vacation made me feel less exhausted and stressed out, I still find myself having difficulty working. Which happens to be stressful itself. I'm not really sure if it's still burnout, or the medication changes, or a mix of both. I do know that getting what I got done in the last few days was very difficult, though not quite as bad as it was before Christmas. Fortunately Besty is back, and our new writer Misa will be making her real debut this month, so things won't totally grind to a halt even if I'm working at the speed of snail.

We had some miscommunications with our artist, and it seems that progress wasn't quite where I thought it was. For example, milk leaking and spraying from nipples didn't get finished completely, and jewelry for nipples/pussy/belly got skipped over. In the end, I didn't manage to put in panties, skirts, pants, socks/stockings, or shoes anyway... so it's pretty much fine. It's a lot of work to translate the art into usable things in game, and combined with a couple technical issues where she lost some of my work so it had to be redone... I'm glad I was able to get as much done as I did given my other problems. She's still working on finishing the unfinished items, and then will start upper body clothing. With some luck we'll have it done in the next release, but at the very least we'll have a lot more in.

Thanks a bunch for reading all this rambling, I know this was a whiny one... but I'm seriously optimistic about what we're going to accomplish in 2025. Thanks a lot for supporting us and making it all possible!
