Version 1.25.1 - Windows Defender Shit

Malware Stuff

So several people got false positive AV detection on the 1.25.0 release. I've added new code and content so that hopefully it doesn't happen this time, but who knows? Basically, a single security vendor (KingSoft) thinks that it's a partial match for a particular piece of malware... but this is the same false positive people have been reporting for a number of things, including their own self-authored code. (particularly js for node.js)

Anyway, false positives can happen for a number of reasons, but it seems like this one is caused by a series of characters in the file matching part of a malware file, or maybe because a piece of minimized code is the same as a piece of minimized code in the malware. I'm honestly unsure, but I can tell you that the game is clean, and that's been verified by multiple people now.

Some webtools have shown what vendor is flagging AW, but the only AV we've found actually flagging it as malware is Windows Defender. Which... is a little concerning that so many people seem to depend on the default option Microsoft provides for people who don't bother protecting their computers... Anyways, if false detection does happen again, make sure you open Windows Defender (or your AV) and mark the html file as safe/allowed. Otherwise it'll keep trying to kill the game, and it won't run properly.
